Praying for God’s Will?
When we pray for God’s will be done, are we really wanting His will to be done? Sometimes we pray this but what we really mean is, “please let it turn out the way I want it to”.
If we pray for His will to be done in a certain situation, we must by faith, accept the outcome as indeed His will.
Doesn’t He promise us
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28?
Even if the situation does not appear to be going “our way”, if we prayed for His will be done, we must have faith that He knows what is best and is working things out for our good.
How miserable, to pray for God’s will but then not believe that He has answered it.
