Undulatus Asperatus

It was an exciting morning for this Mom Looking Up!!! The moment I stepped outside, I wanted to fall to my knees praising God for the beauty that was before me. I explain it all in my other blog:

Blessed Hope Homestead

We in Kentucky had our breath taken away on Monday morning when we stepped outside and saw the sky. Here is a picture shared by Aberiel Walton, from Lancaster Ky on Facebook:

Linda Hatcher shared her picture from Boyle County:

Here is one my sister took from Boyle County, Parksville, Ky…just four houses down from mine:

and lastly, here is one from someone in Lexington, Ky:

Apparently these clouds are called Undulatus Asperatus and while they may appear foreboding, they do not usually accompany a storm. Here in my neck of the woods, they lasted perhaps 30 minutes or so then just dissipated.

One thing is for sure, it was a gorgeous way to begin my morning and I could not help but praise God the moment I stepped outside!
