What follows is a long post and I hope you will bear with me through the end. It could be that you will not relate to this in any way; or its just possible that you also are faced with terrible storms that make you want to change course. Whatever the case, I hope this will be edifying to you.

As many of my long time readers and personal acquaintances are aware, 2015 was a very challenging year for me and my family. I won’t go into great detail, but we have dealt with a disability that brought about medical retirement and have been searching for new job opportunities since August. We’ve been waiting for doors to open, putting out resumes and preparing for some lean times. We’ve been busy during our wait and praying hard for direction and strength.

Why Only Asia Minor?

A friend asked me if I think there is any significance to the fact that the seven churches mentioned in the book of Revelation were located in what is now known as modern-day Turkey. I checked and they indeed all are in Turkey.

There were other churches at that timeand they all had problems I’m sure. Corinth certainly did. So why did Jesus only address those in Asia Minor?

Is there any significance to it?

I’m going to see what I can find out. If any of you have any thoughts, please let me know in comments!

 

One World Religion: Pope Francis Says All Major Religions Are ‘Meeting God In Different Ways’

Almost every time I submit a pist something the pope has said, it is met with criticism. There is always someone ready to defend him with, “that isn’t what he meant”. The pope seems like an intelligent fellow who is well spoken. He says what means in these prayers and speeches.

True, we are all God’s children in the sense that we are all His creation. He loves us and does not desire anyone to perish. However, He has made it very clear that salvation can be found only in His Son Jesus Christ. To say we all worship the same God is not only absurd, it is idiotic.  Anyone who chooses to adhere to such a ridiculous”theology”,philosophy, or whatever you want to call it, does so because they do not want to face the Truth. They choose to believe a lie. Any church or preacher that teaches such is a false teacher and an instrument of satan.

This is not the time to moddy-coddle the masses and I have no intention in doing so.

The pope is a false prophet, the RCC is a false religion-a counterfeit Christianity spawned in hell.
