Catholicism Continued (yet again)

I wasn’t planning on writing yet another post exposing the counterfeit known as the Roman Catholic Church, but I feel I must.

Let me first say, the Truth means everything to me. I do NOT want to spread false information. Rather, I want to expose deception and bring it into light. I realize I may sometimes come off as judgmental and “unloving” in my tone. Nothing could be further from my intentions. I am not judgmental or cold-hearted. The very reason I put myself out there for all the world to critique (that isn’t easy to do) is because I LOVE. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t be in Christ and I certainly wouldn’t bother trying to warn people and spread the Gospel. Sometimes-and this is difficult for Americans to hear nowadays-the Truth stings a little bit. Sometimes it hurts. Sometimes we need to be less concerned about people’s feelings and their opinions of us, and more concerned about defending the Truth and the eternal state of souls. Love and tolerance are not necessarily the same thing. I may tolerate my child’s repetitive questions because I love her, but I will not tolerate her putting her hand in a fire….because I love her! If you love someone, you warn them if what they are doing, or not doing, is dangerous. This is common sense, or so I thought.

God loves His creation, mankind. BUT, He also issued a set of “rules” we must abide by for our own good. He isn’t some tyrant not wanting us to have fun. He is all-knowing GOD and He knows what is best. He is also HOLY, and can have NO FELLOWSHIP with the UNHOLY. That is why Jesus left His glory in heaven and walked as man on this earth to die for our sins. To make the UNHOLY, HOLY….through His blood and resurrection. However, we cannot expect to just keep on behaving as the unholy. Jesus plainly says in the Bible we must die to ourselves and be born again, taking up our cross daily. This isn’t works salvation, it is obedience. He says if we love Him, we will keep His commandments.

Now, what does this have to do with the RCC?

Although they claim the name of Christ, it is apparent to anyone with eyes to see that they are doing a pitiful job of keeping His commandments.

The most obvious one is their use of idols. Just take a look at how they changed the 10 Commandments.

 

Seems to me they had to do this because the RCC is chocked-full of idols and graven images.

Other heresies include praying TO and FOR the dead, the worship of (and praying to) Mary, purgatory, the rosary, the Inquisition (including the murder of true followers of the Way), the sale of Indulgences, the immaculate conception of Mary, papal infallibility and even the very idea of a “pope” or head of the church. Jesus is the Head of the church and we are His body. He, through the apostles, established elders of each fellowship community of  believers (Ephesus, Corinth, etc) but these elders were NOT infallible. They, too, are held accountable to the Word of God and must meet certain requirements (being MARRIED and having believing children are two of them!).  Here is an explanation of other heresies taught by the RCC and the Scriptures that oppose them. The RCC is NOT the church built by those in the upper room on Pentecost. Anyone who tries to change the Word of God, manipulate and control it is not from God. Even satan takes on the appearance of light, but it is counterfeit.

I want to end this by pasting here the oath taken by those entering the Jesuit Order of the RCC, in case you didn’t read the linked article from the last post in this series. Keep in mind, Pope Francis is a Jesuit.

The Jesuit Extreme Oath of Induction as recorded in the Congressional Record of the U.S.A. (House Bill 1523, Contested election case of Eugene C. Bonniwell, against Thos. S. Butler, Feb. 15, 1913, pp. 3215-3216):

I ______, now in the presence of Almighty God, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Blessed Michael the Archangel, the Blessed St. John the Baptist, the Holy Apostles, Peter and Paul, and all the Saints, sacred hosts of Heaven, and to you, my ghostly Father, the Superior General of the Society of Jesus, founded by St. Ignatius Loyola, in the Pontification of Paul the Third, and continued to the present, do by the womb of the virgin, the matrix of God, and the rod of Jesus Christ, declare and swear that his holiness, the Pope, is Christ’s Vice-regent, and is the true and only head of the Catholic or Universal Church throughout the earth; and that by the virtue of the keys of binding and loosing, given to his Holiness by my Savior, Jesus Christ, he hath power to depose heretical kings, princes, states, commonwealths and governments, all being illegal without his sacred confirmation, and that they may be safely destroyed.

I do further declare, that I will help and assist and advise all or any of his Holiness’ agents in any place wherever I shall be, and do my utmost to extirpate the heretical Protestant or Liberal doctrines and to destroy all their pretended powers, legal or otherwise.

I do further promise and declare, that notwithstanding I am dispensed with to assume any religion heretical, for the propagating of the Mother Church’s interest, to keep secret and private all her agents’ counsels, from time to time as they may instruct me, and not to divulge directly or indirectly, by word, writing, or circumstances whatever; but to execute all that shall be proposed given in charge or discovered unto me, by you, my ghostly father. …

I do further promise and declare, that I will have no opinion or will of my own, or any mental reservation whatever, even as a corpse or cadaver but unhesitatingly obey each and every command that I may receive from my superiors in the Militia of the Pope and Jesus Christ.

That I will go to any part of the world, whatsoever, without murmuring and will be submissive in all things whatsoever communicated to me. … I do further promise and declare, that I will, when opportunity presents, make and wage relentless war, secretly or openly, against all heretics, Protestants and Liberals, as I am directed to do to extirpate and exterminate them from the face of the whole earth, and that I will spare neither sex, age nor condition, and that I will hang, waste, boil, flay, strangle and bury alive these infamous heretics; rip up the stomachs and wombs of their women and crush their infants heads against the wall, in order to annihilate forever their execrable race.

That when the same cannot be done openly, I will secretly use the poison cup, the strangulation cord, the steel of the poniard, or the leaden bullet, regardless of the honor, rank, dignity or authority of the person or persons whatsoever may be their condition in life, either public or private, as I at any time may be directed so to do by any agent of the Pope or superior of the Brotherhood of the Holy Faith of the Society of Jesus.

Seriously, does that sound like anything Jesus would tell His followers to do??? Absolutely NOT! It is a great deception by satan!!!!!

It is my most sincere prayer that those lay people within the RCC study the Bible for themselves, that the veil may be lifted from their eyes and they find a personal relationship with Jesus Christ Himself, and Him alone. Come out from among her-this “Mother Church”-and trust in Christ ALONE for your salvation! Flee from this heretical idol worship and deception!
