Mom of 3 Evades Human Traffickers In IKEA After Noticing These 4 Warnings. – InspireMore

A mom in Southern California named Diandra Toyos was recently on a shopping trip to IKEA when the unthinkable happened. As Diandra walked through the maze-like store with her three small children and mother, she began to get a “gut feeling” that something wasn’t right. While her kids happily tested out couches, Diandra became aware of a man watching them nearby. That’s when Diandra realized she and her children were targets of human trafficking.

She posted a photo of herself and her kids couch shopping—taken just before Diandra sensed danger—along with the lengthy caption below as a warning to others. Continue thru link below.

    • I am so guilty of being distracted too! When I was my daughter’s age, 13, I wandered around the store looking at stuff while my parents shopped a few aisles over. I am afraid it just isn’t safe to do that anymore. Most of us probably don’t think to do this, but we really need to start praying for protection whenever we go out. Do you think they would’ve been less of a target if Dad was with them? That may sound old-fashioned but I think it would make a difference. Of course we can’t always have a man with us and we certainly don’t need to live in fear, but I am going to be much more aware.

      • As I am about to turn in for the night, I am led to share something I should have shared when I read your comment earlier this evening: Praise God that as you and I KNOW His word (thinking of Psalm 91 at the moment) and BELIEVE it and walk by faith, “no disaster will come near your tent, for He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands so you do not dash your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample
the great lion and the serpent.” Our children are “under our tent”! Hallelujah! Oh, how blessed we are to be “sons” of God trampling the devil under our/Christ’s feet! Love you, sis!

    • It is listed in the article at the link. 4 was noticing they were close to an exit….a child could have been grabbed and taken out of the building and shoved in a waiting vehicle before Mom knew what was happening.
