Hanukkah Sameakh!

Happy Hanukkah dear readers!

Last night was the first night of the Feast of Dedication. As  “gentile” Christians, we keep the focus on Jesus….as it should always be anyway. We prayed, thanking יהוה for the Light of Yeshua, His faithful provision and that His light might shine through us. Then we read the opening portion of John 1.

We didn’t make the traditional latkes, but regular fried potatoes, and that is turkey sausage not pork…lol

My son playing the dreidel. We used popcorn as the tokens. He won, stinker.

Sorry this is a bit blurry. E took the picture. Eight year old, pfft. 🙂

Do you see my shofar? My dear uncle gave it to me. Now if i can just learn to blow it….

Do you observe Hanukkah?
