The Beast: His Mark and Image Intermission

When I started this blog five years ago, it was because I was starting to wake up and see the signs of Bible prophecy within everyday headlines. I shared nearly everything I came across, naively. As I said, I was just starting to wake up. I still believed that if someone called themselves a Christian, they surely were and therefore were trustworthy. I still struggle with this some, this difficulty being able to read people. However, by God’s grace and patience, He is sharpening my discernment and I no longer believe everything I read or see. I am also less quick to just run with an idea.

That is why it has taken me so long to publish this follow up post concerning the mark of the beast. I have been researching, studying and of course praying over this subject. All my life I have had the desire to understand how “stuff” fits together. Not mechanically or in any kind of scientific way, I have never enjoyed taking things apart to see how they work. I mean, philosophically. Theologically. The Grand Scheme of things. Truth is the goal. Such is the driving force behind this topic and why it is taking me so long to finish this series. I’m curious. I thrill at seeing God’s hand in everything and can’t help but get excited at glimpses of how it’s all going to play out.

So anyway, the reasons why I think those who take the mark of the beast will be incapable of changing their minds remains a future post until the Lord reconciles some loose ends in my own understanding and gives me the go-ahead. I really don’t know if any of my readers will find this information useful or interesting, for those wide awake walking in the Spirit, it may be redundant information. Still, if there is one thing the Lord has been teaching me lately, it’s to speak when He tells me, what He tells me. There is somebody out there who needs to read it, only He knows.

Thanks for your patience, and if you have no idea what I am talking about (ha ha), you can read the first post HERE.

  1. I would encourage you to take what you hear, read, and see to the Lord in prayer and don’t stop until He reveals what is true and what isn’t. This is too serious an issue to rely on the views and/opinions of another.
