He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

During what is known as the Great Tribulation, the Time of Jacob’s Trouble, and the end of days a man of lawlessness will take power over the entire global population. His right-hand man, his PR manager if-you-will, will perform great wonders on behalf of the beast, this global leader. We refer to them as the Antichrist and the False Prophet.
Every citizen on earth will be required to receive on their bodies a mark of some kind. Without this mark, no one will be able to buy or sell. This mark will be directly connected to the Antichrist, and whoever bears the mark swears allegiance to (worships) and eternally seals their “fate”.
Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

But why? Why are those who take the mark automatically eternally damned? Why does that act forfeit all hope? There may be several explanations but I’m going to focus on what I feel the Spirit is telling me. If you read the introductory post and the Intermission, you know I do not come to this conclusion lightly or haphazardly, but with surrendered prayer and study.

AI is the next big thing. Hardly a day goes by when I don’t see some clip or article pertaining to the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Whether we are talking about Sophia the “robot”, the recent cloning of monkeys, Elon Musk launching a car into space equipped with special discs encoded with a library of information, and 5G-we must not forget 5G-advanced technology is more than the wave of the future; it is now. And it undoubtedly will play a huge role in the coming mark of the beast.
Sure, it has long been a widely held view that the mark will be some kind of tattoo barcode or a chip implanted just below the skin, but I think the evitable product will be much more complex and sinister than a simple microchip.
Enter CRISPR. Combine this technology with 5G and we have something else entirely. Imagine it: humans will no longer just have access to the Internet of Things, but they will be biologically connected to all things digital and the internet.

While we are told the CRISPR technology will revolutionize healthcare, curing and preventing diseases, how easy would it be to replace chunks of our genetic code with a type of digital code connected to the 5G (or perhaps a more advanced version) network?

So, you see, humankind is already in danger of being out ranked by AI, our own invention. Already the top technological minds are warning that unless we somehow connect with AI ourselves, our intelligence will become the relative equivalent of a house cat. Therefore, it is very possible the chip implanted will be of such that will alter the human DNA, ramp up human “intelligence” and biologically connect every person to a global network, thus making it impossible to buy or sell without it.
But there’s more than an Earth full of bionic human cyborgs. Remember, grouped with the mark is the worship of the beast and his image. Before exploring this, let’s remember one thing: God made man in His image.
What does that mean? Well, there are several answers to that question but let’s consider that God “marked” our cells. According to THIS ARTICLE, as well as others, the tetragrammaton is found within our DNA.
What’s the tetragrammaton?
It’s the Name of God.

Our bodies are essentially held together by the image of the cross.
There are likely more ways God has left His fingerprint within mankind.
So, if יהוה can be found within our DNA, it seems very likely satan will want to remove (or at least distort) that and replace it with his own image. Right? Thus, CRISPR technology. The globe’s population will be forced to take within themselves the image of the beast, which they’ll only be too glad to do because not only will they need it to buy and sell, but they will also be under the delusion that this implanted technology will transform them into super humans. Further, let’s not forget that the evil forces can travel through the digital world… thus everyone with this mark could very well have demonic forces traveling through their veins.
That is why I think (I do not know of course, no one can yet) those who take the mark will be automatically damned with no hope. They will willingly erase God from their bodies and accept the image of the evil one, as a sort of demonic-human hybrid/chimera. They won’t be able to change their minds because their minds will be turned over to complete delusion.
