Time moves forward and while each moment brings us closer to the Lord’s return, we remain diligent to our assigned tasks, occupying until He comes.
I am privileged to be able to stay home with my children and train them up in the way they should go. Today marks our official first day of the new school year. I say official because today is when I will start keeping record, but actually I consider every day an opportunity to learn and grow.
E is 9 and beginning 3rd grade.
H is 15 and beginning her Freshman year. You may remember she has special needs. Her 9th grade year will not look much different than her brother’s 3rd grade.
These pics were taken before church yesterday. I assure you, we don’t always dress so nicely. 😂
E is being groomed in church leadership, learning now the importance of serving the Lord. He has been helping serve/pass communion for a couple years now (he made his confession and was baptized in 2016) and his dad is encouraging him in public prayer. Unfortunately in our small rural church we are limited in the number of men willing to step up and lead and even lead in prayer. Still, I feel honored and humbled to be able to raise up my boy.
Of course, my blessed hope is that the Lord will call us out of here sooner rather than later!
