Church Bells Ring

I live 4 houses down from “my” church and my parents live across the street from it. This is our second Sunday being closed due to social distancing, but the bells still rang as a reminder that this is the Lord’s day. The ringing of the bell brings a peaceful comfort to this small, rural, community on this gloriously beautiful Sunday.

Pardon the view. This was videoed from my bedroom window as I realized the time. We still have some landscaping/cleaning up to do. The dog is named JoJo and he’s about 10 years old.

I hope you are healthy, strong, and at peace during these unprecedented times, drawing close to the Lord.

Maranatha!

    1. So far so good! We have strong immune systems, very rarely sick. Hubs does take med for high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes, though, AND his job is cleaning parts of the hospital so prayers for his continued protection is appreciated.

      1. Hi Marcia! Good news to hear and your husband is one of the angels of mercy working in that occupation doing so much good serving the Lord! You’re so blessed to have the immune systems working top notch! I was that way up to several years ago when spiritual and physical attack caused me internal injury which I fought my way back through, but now though healthy I have a weaker link there, that I must be mindful of in my activities not to overload the respiratory system, more like a reactive airway concern. I’ll be sure to say a special payer for you and you entire family; with special attention to Hubs! That’s a good man who has a good woman by his side!
Church bells are so beautiful and actually an assuring reminder that God above hears our pleas; and our hearts reaching out to Him through Christ Jesus are music to His ears!
        God Bless You All.
        Brother in Christ,

      2. Thanks Lawrence. The Lord prepared us, I’m sure, by inspiring me to start taking elderberry syrup and elderberry + Echinacea +vitamin c powder added to water a few months ago. The kids don’t take either, they are so picky, but still have good immune systems. It helps that we have home schooled for a couple of years and I do 98% of our shopping alone.

      3. The kids are young and happen have good genes and great parents so they are growing strong and true. as we grups get up in years we can afford the luxury of neglecting the basic foundations blocks of maintaining good health so we have to out of necessity pay closer and stricter attention to all factors. Marcia you just reminded me of a few things not in my regime lately so that you for allowing the Lord to speak though you to me! I’m going to make my powerful chicken soup and then load up on the Vitamin C Echinacea tea and so on! You are a fantastic Mom and Shopper! My hat goes off you Marcia I mean that and it’s an honor to know you, you bring a tear to my eyes and it’s all good! My heart tells me so! Catch up again later on! God Bless! 💞🤗❤️

Having typed all that, my daughter now tells me her throat is sore. It could be allergies, but worth keeping an eye on for sure!
