Hubs’ Birthday Present

Hubs turned 45 last week. We are just now getting his present assembled. It’s a nice addition to our little homestead.

To the right will be our garden. To the left are Chocolate Orpington chickens. Most of our chickens roam freely, but there are a few Hubs keeps in individual pens for breeding purposes.

Draw Near-Morning with Mom

Spring is springing here and one of my favorite places to be is next to the pond Hubs built for me. This morning I take a moment to reflect on God’s word and enjoy the peaceful serenity.  God is calling us towards a closer walk with Him. “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you” James 4:8. What an awesome thought- the Creator of the universe wants to draw near to us!
