The Way
At its core, salvation can be defined as restored fellowship with God. How then do we receive this restored fellowship? Certainly there is nothing we can do, as the law shows us that we all fall short and are guilty of breaking the law of God. How then can we find our way back to Him?
The answer lies within God Himself. Our fellowship with Him is restored by way of His very Being.
God the Father provided the Way.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whosever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
God the Son is the Way.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 14:6
God the Holy Spirit points the Way.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Romans 8:14
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
John 16:13
