This is one of my favorite songs. I always sang along and imagined myself saying to Jesus, “I am holding onto You”, especially in stressful or difficult situations. Tonight as I was listening to it, it occurred to me that it is Jesus saying those words. “I am holding on to you. In the middle of this storm, I am holding on. I am”. This makes me love the song even more!
In the middle of the storm He is holding on to you. We will encounter storms in our lives but He is always close by to those who love Him. He may or may not calm the storm but He will always carry us through them.
