While I am encouraged to see so many people throughout the world speaking against this tyranny, we in America need to be more diligent than ever to put a stop to the rising oppression. We Christians need to be praying for the Lord to open the eyes of our fellow citizens and loved ones. Most of all we need to repent for the decades that we sat by complacently and apathetically and willingly separated politics from religion. How many Christians have told me over the years that they go to church, they are a Christian etc, yet they will not discuss politics because those two things must remain separate? If Christians cannot see that religion and politics go hand in hand then they will find their religion becomes governed by the State. I recently heard Robin Bullock say faith and power preached in the pulpits produces freedom while fear produces tyranny. If this covid spectacle has shown us anything, it has shown who has just given lip service to their faith, and whose faith is genuine. No, I’m not saying those people who have gotten sick have weak faith; I am saying those people who choose to ignore everything but the approved narrative as presented by the mainstream media are not being led by the Holy Spirit, for I am confident anyone who diligently seeks the Lord on this matter will have their eyes open to the grand deception that is thrust upon us. Any of us who have been among the complacent and compromising, it is not too late. We can still seek the Lord and submit to His Lordship and ask Him to guide us by the power of His Holy Spirit. Praise be to God for his mercy, patience, and understanding.
