One day soon Jesus Christ is going to return. Before that, the world will see such amazing events as never seen before. Hollywood, in all its creativity and blockbuster bucks, could never appropriately recreate or imagine what is about to happen. AND IT WILL NOT BE FUN!
Jesus promises to keep His true followers from the “hour of trial”. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; 1 Corinthians 15:52; Matthew 24:31; Revelation 3:10)
The question is, are you ready?
If not, allow me to share with you here what the Bible(God) says about how to BE ready.
First we must understand:
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23 (KJV)
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 (KJV)
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 (KJV)
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (KJV)
Okay, what must I do?
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 (KJV)
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 (KJV)
4 Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. Romans 6
21 Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 1 Peter 3
38 Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2
16 Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.’ Acts 22
5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs [a]according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3
36 As they went along the road they came to some water; and the eunuch said, “Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized?” 37 And Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” 38 And he ordered the chariot to stop; and they both went down into the water, Philip as well as the eunuch, and he baptized him. 39 When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away; and the eunuch no longer saw him, but went on his way rejoicing. Acts 8
3 I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Luke 13
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1
18 But someone may well say, “You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” James 2
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and [h]that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2
16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. Mark 16
18 For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit 1 Peter 3
As with any topic it is vital that we take all of God’s Word into account; not picking and choosing verses here and there but look at what all He says.
Your next step is to find a Bible teaching church/fellowship. We need the encouragement, edification and fellowship of other believers.

I am keeping my eyes to the sky!! So many rumors and confused understanding of prophecy is circulating out there and it is scaring the TAR out of people and shutting people out. I addressed this recently solely because of what I have heard and seen being pushed around and it is driving people away. I also caught A TON of hostility for it. I am glad to have found this, sincerely!!

Yes, I’m ready. Have been for a long time; but I do worry about my grandkids. we have talked to them about trusting in Jesus for forgiveness of their sins but I’m not sure they fully understand. We pray continually for their salvation.
