Shanah Tova!

Today begins Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year 5782, and the biblical feast of trumpets.

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord.’ ”
Leviticus 23:23‭-‬25 NKJV

And if I am not mistaken this also begins a Year of jubilee.

‘And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years. Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family. That fiftieth year shall be a Jubilee to you; in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of its own accord, nor gather the grapes of your untended vine. For it is the Jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you shall eat its produce from the field. And if you sell anything to your neighbor or buy from your neighbor’s hand, you shall not oppress one another.
Leviticus 25:8‭-‬12‭, ‬14 NKJV

“The Feast of Trumpets/Tribulation/Rapture Q &A” on YouTube

I made this last night so please pardon the tired mess of my appearance. I could’ve taken the time to fix my hair and put on makeup but, seriously, that just isn’t important. Like, AT. ALL. I only mention it because a part of me is still conscious of cultural norms and manners. 😒😂

Anyway, may the Lord bless you and keep you today and forever more. Maranatha!

“The Feast of Trumpets 2020 – A Day of Judgement or A Day of Joy?” on YouTube

Well, the day has finally arrived. The Feast of Trumpets. We’ve heard and discussed this day quite a bit lately, as it may relate to the rapture, but we haven’t really discussed the history of this particular Holy Feast day. The video below gives the OT background.

Maranatha!
