I went to fill out the after voting poll and the young man told me I couldn’t .  It’s a random sampling he said. I guess I wasn’t random enough. Oh well.

I’ll share with you my latest FB status that will probably result in my being unfriended, but I had to say it. If you’ve ever felt the HS weighing on you to speak, you know what I mean.

Those who applaud and fellowship with Jezebel shall surely share her fate. Those who look the other way as children are raped and sacrificed as the leaders mock and drink blood shall not escape. Those who ignore the warnings of the prophets and declare these things are not so, shall be brought to shame.

An Open Letter to the Liberal/Progressive Christian.

This has been weighing on my heart for several days, but time is almost up, so I must share this. What I’m about to say is not easy for me, because I know there is a good chance I will be viewed as judgemental or accused of not having all the facts. Still, it MUST be said and I pray that you truly are as open minded as you claim liberals are, and that you heed this message. 

The ear that hears the rebukes of life Will abide among the wise. He who disdains instruction despises his own soul, But he who heeds rebuke gets understanding. Prov 15:31‭-‬32 NKJV

   To open I would like to ask you to take a look at a few verses of Scripture.

“And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:  “I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.  Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow  that woman  Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.  And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent.  Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.  I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. “Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden.  And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations— ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’ — as I also have received from My Father;  “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’

Rev 2:18‭-‬29

I understand that many of you intend to vote for Hillary Clinton on Tuesday. I read your reasons; how you think she is best qualified to lead this nation. You support her inclusion of those you think are oppressed. She is a champion of women, you say. She will lead this nation, and thus the world, closer to unity and peace. I admire your compassion in regards to the less fortunate. 

I am also reminded of the first few verses of the above passage. 

I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience

Many of you have such big, loving hearts. You’d give the shirt off your back to anyone who needed it. You finance and volunteer at Soup Kitchens and homeless shelters. You befriend and mentor unfortunate children who are just shy of being orphans. You give of your time, skill and finances to many charitable organizations. You believe in Jesus’ sermon on the Mount and “be-attitudes”. You want to ease pain and oppression. You love people, all people, and want to meet them where their needs are.

I get that. I deeply respect that. What better way to share the Gospel and love of Christ? Jesus praises the church for this.

BUT, pay attention to the Lord’s rebuke.

You’ve allowed Jezebel to influence you. You have fallen under a great deception. Somehow you think America should be governed by a woman who thinks it is okay to murder an unborn child, even hours before it would be born. You somehow are at peace with all of the lies, corruption and controversy surrounding her. She has been accused of pedophilia. Her angry tantrums are reported by several inside sources. She will do or say whatever she needs to in order to have her way. Go back and read the books of Kings and tell me that isn’t who you want representing your nation….your very selves. It is obvious; Hillary is influenced by the same demonic spirit that controlled Jezebel. It is common knowledge that HRC’s mentor was Alinsky, who acknowledged and praised Lucifer and his rebellion against Jehovah.

Secondly, let me remind you of what Jesus said to the church in Pergamos.

But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.  Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.  Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it. ” 

Rev 2:14‭-17

In short, you have compromised with the world. You have mistaken tolerance for love. There are even some among you who say there are many paths to God.

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14

If you do not believe that, you are not a follower of Jesus. You may do lots of wonderful things, but you do not belong to Jesus.

23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me. John 

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matthew 7

You cannot pick and choose which words of Jesus you want to follow. Plain and simple. 

But, if I may quote Hillary, WHAT DIFFERENCE AT THIS POINT DOES IT MAKE? You may say, “We are talking about politics. We aren’t electing an elder of the church.” True. But who you vote for is a reflection of your values, YOUR character. A vote for Hillary is your way of saying you approve of her position on key moral issues, such as abortion, pedophilia, honesty and on Jehovah God Himself (if she shares Alinsky’s view, which there is no evidence that she does not).

No, there is no holy candidate. There is no one righteous on earth, outside the blood of Jesus. Yes, everyone has skeletons and everyone sins. This isn’t an endorsement for Trump. This isn’t really about Hillary. This is about YOU claiming the name of Christ and what that means.

We are told to abhor that which is evil. We are instructed to live holy lives. Followers of Jesus are the light of the world, shining truth into the darkness. We have no fellowship with darkness. 

We either follow Jesus and His complete word, or we don’t.  There is no room for compromise. Very soon God is going to separate the sheep from the goats. Follow the Good Shepherd. Hear His voice.

I also pray you not suppress the Holy Spirit for this is your “Joshua moment”:

“Now therefore, fear the Lord , serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord ! And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord .”
