Family Update-Mom’s Journal

This time of year is always particularly busy, so here is my obligatory post preserving our special moments for posterity.

The boy turned 12 at the end of October and spent the last few days camping in Tennessee with my parents, and my sister and niece.

My girl isn’t so much of a girl anymore! She turned 18 last week! Y’all I can’t even….

And finally, yesterday was the opening day of gun season for deer here in Central Kentucky. Hubs is super stoked because for the first time in his life he actually got a buck on opening day. He’s had a lot of success over the years, but this is the first time he actually got one on opening day.

Meanwhile, several times a day I look out my bedroom window to see this beautiful tree that God has blessed me with.

October 2020 Family Fun

It has been a while since I posted a family update. Today we joined our homeschool co-op group on a field trip to the pumpkin patch. My sister and niece joined us.

Here’s an alpaca with such a friendly face …..

I brought home a cushaw instead of a pumpkin. I LOVE cushaw pie!!

Have you been able to do anything fun so far this fall?

Yesterday our youth group went to Devine’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch. We older folks are TIRED, but the kids had a blast.
