Area 51 raid: people gather near US military base to ‘see them aliens’ | Nevada | The Guardian
About 75 people arrived early on Friday at a gate at the once secret Area 51 military base in Nevada at the time appointed by an internet hoaxster to “storm” the facility to see space aliens and at least two were detained by sheriff’s deputies.
The Storm Area 51 invitation spawned festivals in the tiny Nevada towns of Rachel and Hiko nearest the military site, and a more than two-hour drive from Las Vegas.
The Lincoln county sheriff, Kerry Lee, estimated late Thursday that about 1,500 people had gathered at the festival sites and said more than 150 people also made the rugged trip several additional miles on bone-rattling dirt roads to get within selfie distance of the gates. An Associated Press photographer said it wasn’t immediately clear if a woman who began ducking under a gate and a man who urinated nearby were arrested after the crowd gathered about 3am on Friday.Millions of people had responded to a June internet post calling for people to run into the remote US air force test site that has long been the focus of UFO conspiracy theories. “They can’t stop all of us,” the post joked. “Lets see them aliens.”
The military responded with stern warnings that lethal force could be used if people entered the Nevada Test and Training Range, and local and state officials said arrests would be made if people tried.
“It’s public land,” the sheriff said. “They’re allowed to go to the gate, as long as they don’t cross the boundary.”

Take a look!
I posted a poll for my Facebook friends which asked, “Should the Church care about disclosure”. A simple yes or no question. Most of my FB friends claim to be Christians. Anyway, as of this morning and of the 25 people who bothered to look at the poll, only 3 answered. Two others said they didn’t understand the question: “Disclosure of what?”
After I explained disclosure of area 51 and aliens (and explained that yes I’m serious and no I haven’t lost my mind), those same two people told me it was a joke and associated with “crazy people”.
To be honest I expected as much, and suspect they aren’t alone in their opinions. Afterall, my own family didn’t even vote! I can only conclude that many people….perhaps Christians in particular….still think the topic of aliens remains securely within the nutty fringes of society.
So. Let me present here a short list of evidentiary material that the world is being groomed to accept “aliens” and that the topic is becoming more mainstream. Keep in mind, this is my short list. Space does not allow an extensive list.
From the N.Y. Times. That’s hardly fringe.

I will stop here for now. These are mainstream news sites, folks. A simple internet search will give you more evidence than you could ever have time to read.
As of now, they are tossing hints….soft disclosure…..
I suspect the full, hard disclosure will come upon the rapture of the Church.
That is why it is important that we disclose the Truth NOW, while we can. These are not extra-terrestrial, they are not beings from the future or from some distant star system.
These are fallen angels/demons playing the same games with mankind as they always have. They do not bring hope for the future. They bring death and damnation.
Should the Church Care About Disclosure?
It’s a shame, really, that I have to ask that. Jesus came the first time to testify to the Truth, and as His followers, we are called to do the same.
Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?
John 18:37-38 KJVA
Like Pilot, people continue to ask that very question today. Perhaps even more so today. It is increasingly difficult to navigate this information age. We are post-enlightenment, yet people are more confused than ever. Could it be because this so-called enlightenment comes from a source determined to keep us in the dark?
Of course it is.
People are hurting. They are engaged in a bloody battle for their very souls.
Yes, all men are sinners in need of a savior. I am in no way diminishing the Gospel!! But there are entities out there doing everything they can to keep man from coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ! To be blunt, their job isn’t a difficult one. This is mainly because they are facing little opposition!
We, the Church, are not seeing the bigger picture here. We have the Truth, we hold the only weapons fit to combat these entities, yet so many of us choose to look the other way because we don’t understand what we are seeing.
Don’t get me wrong. There are some battles in which we do fight. Abortion, homosexuality, pedophilia, etc etc…..these are obvious battlegrounds in which many of us fight valiantly with the weapons and courage provided to us by Holy Spirit. Fight on soldiers of Christ!
Yet, for some reason, there are some battles we ignore. In America, at least, and from my own experience, topics such as demons, ghosts, cryptids, UFOs and aliens are frowned upon. I really don’t understand this. There is a stigma there.
I suppose the battles we do fight, such as abortion etc, are easier to understand. They have a shape; appear more tangible, because we can interact with the human beings involved in them. The supernatural/paranormal/unseen realm have too many unknowns. There is also the idea that if we acknowledge these beings, we are somehow giving them power or inviting them to come into our lives.
NEWSFLASH: They are already in your life! They are all around us, hidden in the shadows and the invisible. Abortion and the topics we like to fight? Yeah, they are behind them too. Satan does not put all his eggs in one or two baskets. They are out to steal, kill and destroy.
All I’m saying is, the Church should care about Disclosure. We are to disclose the Truth and expose the lies. In every form. As I’ve said in the past, we are all parts of one Body with different functions. We can’t do everything all by ourselves, we can’t engage in every battle simultaneously. Some are called to combat the lies surrounding abortion, others Islam, others pornography…..we all acknowledge these battles and support one another in prayer and encouragement. Just remember, there is a ministry for those caught up in the paranormal and occult lies as well and we should never tell our Brothers and Sisters to not discuss such things, or to ignore it.
Should the elbow tell the knee not to perform its function?
No matter our specific callings, we all must be aware of the battle raging around us and actively engage in leading the wounded to the Great Physician Who can and will heal, and Who empowers us to fight the good fight.
