Man survives fall from Empire State Building’s observation deck

The fella climbed over a security fence, and purposefully jumped off. Instead of “jumping” though, apparently he just dropped. This landed him one floor down. I don’t know if it was a suicide attempt (gone bad) or if he was just being dumb, but he suffered a broken ankle and was escorted to the hospital by police.
