Who’s With Me?

Anyone else ready to fly on outta this crazy world?

Headlines like the ones below  leave me shaking my head in frustration, disgust and anger. Satan’s grip is so tight on the world right now, I cannot imagine what it is going to be like once the Restrainer is removed. It is a world gone insane: mankind is losing all sense of decency and common sense, the weather is down-right kooky and nature is shouting, whether it be the unexplained deaths of animals, volcanic activity, earthquakes, sinkholes, or strange humming noises that have an untraceable source.  All of these are shouting, heralding, the return of the Lord and it is only going to get worse!

Judge goes off deep end to shut up Christians

Syrian Rebels in Cannibalistic Shock Video

These are just three articles. I am sickened by it all. I am sickened even more at the Christians who just shrug their shoulders-what can we do?-and then promptly return to their Facebook updates, making sure to forward and “share” all those “Christian” messages that will bring them blessings if they only share it with seven of their friends. How quick we are to blab to our friends lists every minute detail of our lives (as if they really care), but don’t want to bother anyone with the stuff that really matters. You know….like their eternal destination…or the literal hell that is about to be unleashed!

Frustrated? Yeah, more than a little.

Jesus IS coming back VERY SOON, OR you may not live to see the next five minutes: have you planned for that future? Are you sure? Are you ready?

This may be selfish of me but Maranatha, maranatha, MARANATHA! Come quickly Lord Jesus!

Psalm Sunday (oops late!) Psalm 53

Wow, I’m getting today’s Psalm in just under the bell here in Ky. I’ve been super preoccupied this weekend and am just now sitting down to see what’s happening in the blogosphere.  I want to wish everyone a happy Mother’s Day!

A Mom Looking Up

Psalm 53

The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity; There is none who does good.

2 God looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God. 3 Every one of them has turned aside; They have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one.

4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call upon God? 5 There they are in great fear Where no fear was, For God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you; You have put them to shame, Because God has despised them.

6 Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.
