Robots Will Replace Soldiers In Combat, Says Russia

For Russia, the question of robots taking over the role of soldiers on the battlefield is a matter of when, not if.

“Living fighters will gradually begin to be replaced by their robotic ‘brothers’ who can act faster, more accurately and more selectively than people,” Vitaly Davydov told RIA Novosti on April 21. Davydov is the deputy director of Russia’s Advanced Research Foundation, its DARPA analog.

Developing robots for war is an international phenomenon, and Davydov’s remarks fall into a broader pattern of Russia seeking to augment its existing military with new, autonomous capabilities.

“There is a still-classified Russia’s military robotics road-map that sketches out various stages of Russian unnamed military developments, which undoubtedly has been influenced by Russian military actions and experience in Syria,” says Samuel Bendett, an adviser at the Center for Naval Analyses.

While some Russian robots have underperformed expectations in combat, the Ministry of Defence is working on a new generation of combat machines for training and possible future use. At the center of this design is the Marker UGV, or uncrewed ground vehicle. Resembling a miniature tank with treads and turrets, the Marker is as much a test bed as it is a machine expected to see battle.

“The Ministry of Defence is discussing the eventual use of robotic swarms in combat— and Marker is definitely the platform to test that out,” says Bendett, an Adjunct Senior Fellow at CNAS. “As envisioned, it will be able to launch swarms of UAVs or loitering munitions, making it a truly versatile robotic platform.”

The development parallels many robotic programs under way in the United States. It is remarkable, too, that both nations have hit upon swarms of ground robots as a way to supplement existing human formations in combat. Russia plans to test swarms of ground robots later in 2020.

Part of Davydov’s argument for military robots is that they will, simultaneously, be faster, more discriminating in target selection, and more accurate than people. While it is already possible for machines to react to sensor data faster than humans, the other parts of that equation require targeting algorithms with far greater discretion than anything seen presently. (It also involves sidestepping the entire international legal and moral debate over transferring the decision to kill in battle from humans to machines.)

“At this point in military autonomy, a human can designate targets once they are identified,” says Bendett, “but once the computing speed and the levels of battlefield complexity multiply exponentially, I wonder how true Davydov’s statement will be.”

Making robotic soldiers that adhere to the laws of war and protections for civilians isn’t just an ethical challenge, it’s a coding challenge. It requires the military to prioritize positive target identification over the fastest possible response.

“At this point, the Ministry of Defence says that robots replacing humans saves human soldiers from danger,” says Bendett. “Built into that statement is the assumption that a sophisticated unmanned system would be able to eventually distinguish military targets from civilian ones, avoiding unnecessary casualties.”

It doesn’t help much, either, than the militaries responsible for pursuing this kind of battlefield autonomy already have atrocious records when it comes to avoiding civilian deaths.

100 Seconds on the Clock

On January 23, 2020, the “Doomsday Clock” was moved forward. One minute and forty seconds remain before midnight.

According to Wikipedia:

The Doomsday Clock is a symbol that represents the likelihood of a man-made global catastrophe. Maintained since 1947 by the members of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists,^[1] the Clock is a metaphor for threats to humanity from unchecked scientific and technical advances. The Clock represents the hypothetical global catastrophe as “midnight” and the Bulletin’s opinion on how close the world is to a global catastrophe as a number of “minutes” to midnight, assessed in January of each year. The main factors influencing the Clock are nuclear risk and global warming (climate change).^[2] The Bulletin’s Science and Security Board also monitors new developments in the life sciences and technology that could inflict irrevocable harm to humanity.^[3]

The Clock’s original setting in 1947 was seven minutes to midnight. It has been set backward and forward 24 times since then, the largest-ever number of minutes to midnight being 17 (in 1991), and the smallest 100 seconds (1 minute and 40 seconds) in January 2020.

However, we don’t need the Bulletin of Atomic Sciences to tell us the end is near.

Nothing man can imagine or predict, or do, will change God’s plan and purpose. The Doomsday Clock perpetrates a false narrative. This is obvious since one of the “indicators of doom” is climate change.

Cataclysmic natural disasters will come, but not because of man’s idea of climate change.

I am of the belief that the demonic powers which deceive the powers-that-be-globalists are very much aware of what Scripture says about the end times, specifically the wrath of God as outlined in the book of Revelation. As part of their deceptive agenda, they will claim the terrible events of the Tribulation on climate change, in an I told you so fashion.

The metaphorical clock is ticking, however, and we have a more reliable tool with which to tell time.

The word of God, as written in the Holy Bible, outlines what it will be like in the end, and while we cannot know the day or hour of the Rapture, we can see the season and know things are beginning to wrap up. The stage is certainly being set. We’ve been able to see certain signs for some time: the reestablishment of Israel as a nation, the wars and rumors of wars, the love of people growing cold, the rise in narcissism, false christs coming and going, the push for a world government, religion and monetary system. These things, and more, are growing in both intensity and frequency.

The key indicators that we are in the last moments before the events of Revelation can be summed up in one word: Convergence.

We see the convergence of end times stage setting in multiple ways, but I want to focus on what I consider to be heretofore the most unprecedented and ground breaking, a blaring siren, if you will. As someone who studied theater and stage managed many shows, now is the time I would be cueing the techies to lower the house lights, fade up the intro music and be ready to open the curtain. The show is about to begin.

Only this isn’t the theater. This is the realest of real life and there are three recent events converging that have gotten my attention like none other.

First, we have rabbis who claim to be in communication with someone they call messiah. For more info, I wrote of this HERE.

Second, is the technology recently patented byMicrosoft which enables one to mine cryptocurrency through the use of their body.  (which interestingly enough includes the number 060606) Plus, MIT has now developed a way to store a person’s health/vaccination history just under the skin using a kind of infrared dye which can be detected by a smartphone. This, coupled with questionable vaccinations which may alter one’s DNA, and ID 2020, we can see the technology behind the mark of the beast take form. 

Thirdly, we have France’s Emmanuel Macron positioning himself as leader of the world. Will he be the man of perdition, THE antichrist? I have no idea. I do believe the beast is alive and well, but it is not yet his time.

The convergence of these three, in addition to all the other signs of the time, highlight the fact that we truly are living in unprecedented times. The stage is set. The rapture of the Bride of Christ is imminent. All we are waiting for is for the Restrainer (whom I believe is the Holy Spirit) to step out of the way (taking the Bride with Him), then the curtain will part to reveal the man of perdition himself and the Tribulation will follow.

BUT WAIT! THERE IS GOOD NEWS!

As I was waking from a nap on Tuesday, without thinking about it, I asked the Lord “How much longer? What else needs to happen before you come for us?” His response was immediate. In the still, small, voice I heard, “Nothing has to happen. My delay is not because certain events need to transpire. I will call for my people when whosoever will come, comes.” 

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

As uncertain as this world has become, His is a peace which passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7) He is waiting for that last person who will turn to Him, and in His infinite knowledge, He knows just who that is. (John 3:16)

This fella suggests tattoos that have beneficial health functions, such as detecting blood sugar levels, recharging pace makers and identifying the need for more sunscreen. Just imagine the capabilities of super tattoos coupled with something like Crisper 9….genetic modification. Christians have long thought that tattoos may be the source of the mark of the beast monetary system. What if what this guy suggests does not only that, but also manipulates and changes the bearers DNA? I suspect such a manipulation is one from which the person can never return, no longer bearing the image of Creator God, the Most High, but instead the image of satan.
