“THE TESTING OF YOUR FAITH”

I had a difficult Sunday morning, during which I called upon the Lord, but received no obvious response. I knew I was at a crossroads. I could falter in my faith, give into doubt. Instead, I chose FAITH and Trust. When I asked God why He didn’t help, He comfortingly told me He carried me through it.

We may not know why some things happen, nor why God remains silent during those times, but we can be sure if we choose faith and trust in Him, He will work all things for His glory and our good.

And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
